APPRECIATION AND RECOGNITION OF MARTHA LARA
Resolution Adopted July 29, 2001 by
The California Congress Of Republicans Board Of Directors

WHEREAS Martha Lara, Counsel General of Mexico, addressed the California Congress of Republicans Board Of Directors Luncheon on July 28, 2001, AND

WHEREAS Ms Lara presented issues and concerns which are important to both the citizens of Mexico and the citizens of the United States, AND

WHEREAS Ms Lara's insights and thoughts towards improving relations between the two neighboring, economically entwined and culturally diverse countries were informative and enlightening, AND

WHEREAS The California Congress Board of Directors and their guests were grateful to Ms Lara for her appearance,

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED That the California Congress of Republicans Board of Directors express their sincere appreciation to Ms Lara for her appearance and recognize her for her efforts, AND

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the California Congress of Republicans send a copy of this Resolution to Ms Lara and place a copy in the official CCR Book Of Resolutions.
